Showers to end before or near morning rush hour

WHAT TO EXPECT

A strong cold front will pass through the area late Tuesday night, lifting the warm and very humid atmosphere. Until the front clears the area, any storms that manage to form will have to be watched for brief heavy rainfall and gusty winds.

Any storms will end before the morning rush hour or close to it.

Then as the front continues to move to our south during the day Wednesday, the weather will change. We will start out warm and muggy, but gusty northwesterly winds will start dropping the humidity in the afternoon and evening with gradual clearing in the skies. Canadian high pressure will take over Wednesday night through Thursday bringing seasonable conditions and much more comfortable humidity levels.
