    • The Trumps have left the church service at St. John's Church.

  • The latest updates at 10:15 a.m.:

    • The Trumps have arrived at the White House, and will meet with President Obama and first lady Michelle Obama until 10:30, when both families will leave for the Capitol.
    • Introductions begin at the Capitol for dignitaries, including former Sens. Bob Dole and Trent Lott and former Vice Presidents Dan Quayle and Dick Cheney.
    • Rain is sprinkling on crowds headed to the inauguration.
    • The Secret Service tweeted earlier Friday morning that the best access to the National Mall, for people without tickets, was from 7th Street and Indiana Avenue, and from 14th and E streets.
    • The lines at security checkpoints are getting longer. WTOP’s John Aaron reports that people at the front of the line at 7th Street have been waiting abut 90 minutes.
  • Had a blast at the Trump-Pence Asian American Inaugural Gala tonight. Lots of cultural food and entertainment representing Chinese, Korean, Indian, Filipino, Vietnamese, Japanese and Pacific Islander culture. Diamond and Silk happened to be staying at the Mayflower and we invited them to join us onstage. We had nearly a thousand attendees, entertainers, and dignitaries from India, Sri Lanka, and Afghanistan!
